Geometry Dash Obsolete is a rhythm-based platform game where you will accompany a cube character moving through a series of stages with countless challenges. The first challenge you need to face in the cube stage is to move the character across the platforms without colliding with sharp obstacles. The character then speeds up to the next robot stage with similar challenges. A short cube section appears then continues with the spider stage at a faster speed. In the spider stage, move the character up and down between two platforms without colliding with spikes to continue the journey.

The character continues to speed up through the next series of stages in Geometry Dash Obsolete. Each stage requires the player to navigate the character in different ways, requiring the player to have quick reflexes to overcome. At level 60%, the player will face a series of challenges from the Boss Battle; you must avoid a series of attacks from the boss to continue the journey. Then continue with the block stage at normal speed, completing this stage, the level ends.
